Mehboob Chohan performed superbly at the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra's A Tribute to Mohammed Rafi on the 7th April 2006.

A fantastic night of music was capped with a triumphant performance by Mehboob Chohan performing some of Rafisaab's greatest hits, including his personal favourite 'Suhani Raat Dhal Chuki.

Mehboob Chohan was tutored in singing by the great musician Ustad Chote Guhlaam Ali Khan and further developed his uniques talent under the instruction of Ustad Khan Abdul Rahman Khan.
Mehboob Chohan's greatest priviliege was to receive personal tuition from the legendary playback singer MOHAMMED RAFI.
He developed close friendships with RafiSaab, who became his mentor, and with, the most-respected and successful musical directors in the Indian film industry, the great SHANKER JAIKISHEN.
Mehboob Chohan has recorded many songs in both Bombay & Lahore where his unique talent was widely appreaciated and appluaded. Hopefully you will like them too.
